WALK, WALK, WALK!

I have started walking, and am REALLY enjoying it! I am lucky to have access to MANY walking trails, and that is the route I am taking. Originally my plan was to walk 20 minutes per day, but yesterday decided to change to 40 minutes, 4 times per week. My goal is to walk the Mother's Day 5k/10k walk run event in Edmonton. Wish me luck!

The sweet sound of G-R-A-N-D-M-A pronounced Damma!

I'll take it!
Today on the phone my Little Missy said, "Damma"! Sounded so sweet! I have been waiting for this day for some time. I have listened while she learned to say Mom, Dad, Baby, Auntie, Uncle, Nana, Gido, Baba, and NOW Grandma!

Again I will be adding a favorite quote to my blog, likely not daily but more often I promise!

Enjoy!

GREAT GIDO & NATASHA......
It is so cute to me how Natasha is ALWAYS shy when she sees Great Gido, and within minutes she warms up to him. She usually see's him every couple of months.....quite awhile between visits for a two year old. Her first reaction when she see's him is to hide her face, and in no time they are playing, teasing, and having a fun time together.

A very SWEET memory after a tough visit for the rest of the family......it's not easy trying to convince an 87 & 89 year old it is no longer safe for them to live on their own, and it's time for them to leave their home. On Feb. 9th 2006 they will celebrate their 65th Anniv., and OF COURSE do not want to be seperated from each other!
