I don't know how to start this one.............but here I go!

My dear friend, I am thinking of you constantly during this very stressfull time. I wish your Mom and your whole family much strength during this long difficult time.

This is such a tough entry to write, probably because it's not your everyday so called normal topic. This one makes you THINK.......touches on life & death, which we usually don't like to visit unless we have to! It's also tough because it is such a PERSONAL decision......there is no right or wrong, what works for some, might not for others. Even if it is right for you, it can be such a double edged sword. Yesterday one family went into grieving and another was living a reality they have waited for, for 2+ years.

I am speaking of transplants, we hear about them all the time, usually it just comes and goes without another thought. Until of course....someone you know comes face to face with it.

Yesterday, a dear friend of mine took her mother to Edmonton for a double lung transplant. I can only imagine waiting for two plus years for this day to arrive. In an instant you get a call telling you to get to the hosptial IMMEDIATELY!!!! What a whirl wind of emotions! I am guessing it would be such a relief, FINALLY, but at the same time you would be so scared to enter such a serious surgery, and recovery. I could write, and write about how I think this must feel, but there is no real point, it's all an empty guess! What I do know, is I have talked and thought about signing a donor card long enough, tonight I will find online donor card, print off, and I will sign it.

If you have ever thought about this, please give it more thought, and make a decision! If you decide the answer for you is YES, PLEASE do it now! It will most likely save someones life!

Princess Brynn

This little sweetheart is my great-niece Brynn. Everytime I see her, or a picture of her I am amazed at how much she looks like her Mom did when she was a little girl.....identical!!!

These great photos were taken by Candace & Warren's friend Rona Anderson, a photographer from the Saskatoon area, very well done Rona!

OH....WHAT A THRILL!

Well the 11th of Feb. was not only exciting because of Daylan's birthday, but also because I got to go on a plane ride(small 4 seater)......I just loved it! My brother's neighbor called him to see if he wanted to go up for a spin, and my brother was just leaving to go ski-dooing so I was lucky enough to take his place. Another added bonus was the front seat.....I guess you could say I was the co-pilot(hahaha). The lucky passengers were Lori, Emily(in picture), and myself(in picture). The guy in the middle is of course the pilot.....and he did a FINE JOB, I wasn't scared even once(excited maybe, but not scared)!!!!

HAPPY 16TH BIRTHDAY DAYLAN!

Well me, like everyone else cannot believe you are 16!

Your 16th Birthday started out at 9:00 a.m when you had an appointment at the Motor Vechicles office. This picture it really makes me laugh! It just reminded me of a little boy walking/trying to balance on the curbs........and here you are 16....passing time while you wait to go for your drivers test!

I cannot believe how nervous I was.....I wanted you to pass soooooo bad, and YOU DID!!! Because it was right on your Birthday it was doubley SWEET(or it could have been doudley SOUR). Your sister's, your cousin Adam, and a few of your friends all passed their test on the first try, so the PRESSURE WAS ON, and you came through!!!!!

After you survived a stress filled morning we headed out to the farm.....where Uncle Daryl, Adam, & Evan were waiting for you to go ski-dooing! What a great day so far!!!!!!

The special touches to your Birthday including the cake, and all the decorations were thanks to Auntie Lori and Emily. THANKS SO MUCH! Poor Emily did so much work decorating the house then all the celebrations were in the shop. She felt really bad, but was a real tropper when she had to bring the cake, ice cream, and all the dishes out to the shop. Way to go EM!!!!

HAPPY 65TH ANNIVERSARY BABA & GIDO

On Feb. 9th Baba & Gido celebrated their 65th Anniversary. On Feb. 11th we went out for a visit, and took this picture of the GREAT couple!

Baba & Gido shared their Anniv. supper with their last remaining bridal party member, Auntie Mary(Gido's sister). She was happy to be with them on this special day!

NATASKA & NATASHA

the two ladies with the same name. Baba tells us the name given to her at birth was Natasha, but somewhere along the line it was changed to Nataska(which is what she goes by today). So when Little Missy came along and it was decided to name her after Baba, she was named Natasha. Thank you Little Natasha for being such a good girl when Grandma was taking these pictures!

BUTTERBALL TURKEY

To most this position may not look very comfortable, but for Ashley it's the best.........Too funny!
