Seen this many times.....chuckle everytime!

Never Argue with a Woman
One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out. She motors out a short distance, anchors, and reads her book.
Along comes a Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says, "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"
"Reading a book," she replies, (thinking, "Isn't that obvious?")
"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her.
"I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading."
"Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up."
"If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault," says the woman.
"But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden.
"That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment." "Have a nice day ma'am," and he left.

MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also
think.

Philosophy Lesson

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schultz, the creator of the "Peanuts" comic strip. You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just read the e-mail straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winner for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners .

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:
1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with .

Easier?

The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care .

ANSWER: There are six F's in the sentence.

A person of average intelligence finds three of them. If you spotted four, you're above average. If you got five, you can turn your nose at most anybody. If you caught six, you are a genius.

Here is the same text, but we highlighted the F's for your review!

Probably around 6 hours old...........with every picture SHE just gets cuter, and cuter!

We've been awaiting the arrival of the latest cutie, I so wish I was out there to see him in real life..........soon! Last night I got a call saying it will be SOON! Nothing yet this morning, then mid afternoon I got another call, the little buckskin male had arrived. Congratulations Daryl & Lori, and thanks so much for the pictures!

Mother's Day funny....hopefully you agree with BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!

Seen this on another blog, thanks for the laugh Janna!

http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/mothers-day-picture.html

I can't keep up with all the pictures I want to post!

Here's a few more.................MOST of these are on my scrapbooking table, waiting to be SCRAPBOOKED!

To most this might look like any other snapshot...............BUT IT'S NOT! First off it is very special..............Baba & Gido with ALL of the GREAT GRANDCHILDREN! Secondly it is a huge task to get a GOOD picture of 6 little ones all 5 years or younger, and 2 seniors! No matter who's looking, who's not................it's a GREAT memory!

Gido & the kids fishing(Dana, Brody, & Natasha)!

I just love this picture.................the only things it's missing is a FISH!

Well, this little exercise has been going on in our family for a looooooooooooong time. This time it's Ashley's turn to MEASURE UP(her first entry on the board)!

This one is a REAL DEAL in the making.........Natasha wasn't overly friendly with Pa when he came home for dinner. When it was time for Pa to give Natasha a horse ride, take Natasha out to the cows, and the other fun stuff, it was deal time. Next time Natasha comes to visit she was going to be friendly, if not............no farm fun! They shook hands and made a DEAL!

bye bye cows.........love the wave!

I think Pa is going over the deal one last time.....just to make sure she's GOT IT!

DOESN'T THIS HAPPY FACE..........

make you think it's going to be a GREAT DAY?

Picture taken(by Danica)while Natasha was playing ball with Great Gido. Gido was pitching, and Natasha was at bat................she hit the ball, and was off to the races!

Note: Great Gido 89 years-6+ months/Natasha 2 years-8 months

On the JOB...........

I just HAD to go and see how he was doing! It was pretty funny as he was trying to ack like he didn't know me, but yet at the same time get a few words in on the sly! He was okay, seemed a bit stressed/nervous! As I was leaving there was a semi-truck filled with plant racks that they were going to unload.......so at least he was busy! Anxious for him to get home, so he can tell me all the details of his FIRST DAY ON THE JOB!

poor pictures, I was trying to be sneaky!

While traveling home from Rimbey yesterday..........

I was listening to the radio, and the title to a song caught my attention.

Don't forget to Remember Me~~~~By Carrie Underwood.

EVERYONE wants to be remembered! In my mind, EVERYONE deserves at least that!

This is a picture of my Dad. As the ole saying goes, a picture is worth a thousand words, and this one is worth that, and many more! Although I haven't had much time with him, I will always remember him, and be thankful for all that is good in my life that came to be through him.

It's a SUPERstore kind of day!

Well today is Daylan's 1st official day of work..........5:00 p.m. at the Camrose Superstore(garden centre). I have my camera ready, and in just a few hours I will be snapping pictures of him in his Superstore T-shirt, black pants, and black shoes(the dress code). I hope he won't be rolling his eyes to much(at me), but I just have to have a few pictures, it's kind of like your 1st day of school......................stay tuned!

UPDATED!!!! He's off to work!

He says........."I look like an idiot"! Dress code says, shirts must be tucked in...........this was totally foreign to him!

Last minute paper work!

Off he goes!

in my yard today.............

One of the main reasons we bought this house was the yard..........I just LOVE IT!!!! We moved here mid summer 2005, so that summer was a right off in regards to enjoying the yard. Last Spring I had my surgery, and wasn't able to work very hard in the yard...................this Spring/Summer I am ready and LOVIN' IT!!!!!!
