HOMEWARD BOUND

This one is for CARITA & ATHENA!!!

Carita(and the kids(Izaak & Anna))are leaving for Sweden tonight......she hasn't been HOME in 3 years! As for the departure.........it's been OVER THE TOP stressfull(I just heard the news this morning).....and they haven't even left for the airport yet!!!!

Their passports hadn't arrived until THIS MORNING!!! Carita said as of yesterday she resided to the fact that they wouldn't be going...................but our families BEST prayer(Athena who is 5)has been busy praying for the past few days(as I hear it), and passports ARRIVED TODAY!!!! Way to go Athena!!!!

To change the departure date would have cost $1000+, and to change the return date would have cost another $1000+...........yikes.........that's just CRAZY!!!! To my understanding the passports were due to arrive around March 19th........I guess this is a BETTER LATE THAN NEVER story!!!!

SON-OF-A-GUN this is CUTE!!!!

Since first posting this link I have found out this little guy is now 15-16.........oh well, it's old, but it's still DARN CUTE!!!

although we(myself & 4 St. Paul area gals)were in WAY over our heads, I am so glad I took this course!!! Learned things about my camera & photography that I never knew were possible.........amazing what happens when you open up your manual!!!! Check out these pictures, they were taken at the same time of day, simply changed the settings on my camera.............pretty amazing hey? I have been playing around a LOT, and now have to start memorizing what I am doing(that's going to be the tough part)!!!

I haven't seen her for a couple of weeks, and I hear now she is a big girl now............feeding tubes GONE, she is breast feeding.....ALL IS GOOD!!!

the big countdown.......9 days and counting!
Daylan is counting the days until he leaves on his trip, I am so wishing they needed parent chaperones(he's probably glad they didn't)! He is off to Greece & Rome the end of next week! My biggest fear is he is going to LOSE his passport! He is good at many things, but keeping track of his things is not one of them(hmmmmmmmm did he get that from his Mother?).......I sure hope all goes well!!!! The same day Daylan leaves, Danica & Adam are leaving to Mexico! As for this trip, I am not worried about them, I am worried about me........as I am keeping the girls!!!! Will this Grandma survive 8 days(or is it 9)of non-stop 1-1/2 & 3-1/2 year old energizer bunnies????? Although I know I will be totally exhausted, I am REALLY looking forward to this time with them.......will do lots of visiting, and the farm is of course the first stop on our agenda!!!!

well it felt like forever.......the wait to see Blake(and everyone else of course), but we were there for his 3 week old birthday! Okay.........honestly...........he is the strongest baby I have ever seen........and I have seen some pretty healthy/strong babies!!! He holds his head up as if he is 2-3 months old.......Candace says EVERYONE from Abby(Blake' Dad's hometown)has a nickname, well I am thinking Blake's nickname should be BAMBAM(from the Flintones), what a little power house!!!!!

He is SO cute.......but I knew that before I seen him IRL!!!!

Everyone is doing GREAT........I had a great time!!!! Took in two hockey games, Brody came out on top in the scoring stats(2 goals, beat his Dad)


Brynn(3)is her usual bubbly bouncy girly girl......and she if FUNNY too!!!

Can you believe a 3 year old(almost 4)says to her brother(when she wants something her way instead of his), lets flip a coin..........oh my.........I just laughed! I should add, Brody(almost 6)didn't fall for that one!!!!
