Other sites in the Dominican!

Although Rachel & Bryce's wedding is what brought us to the Dominican we did soak up some other Dominican fun........enjoy!!!

Well what can I say...........the wool was pulled over my eyes.........AND GOOD!!! The best part of the trip for me was the HUGE surprise that come knockin' at our hotel room door..........DARYL & LORI(my brother and SIL)!!!!

We did most everything together, and they really added to the fun of the trip! I got to go scuba diving with Daryl(although I didn't do so good this time around, couldn't breath very well, and got sorta sea sick when we came up(never puked though)).

The other big highlight was going white water rafting.........it all seems like a dream!!! I am so glad I didn't fall out of that raft.............it was one of those things that you are shakin' in your boots the whole time you are doing it, but once it's over you are glad you did it.........if that makes any sense!?!?

The REAL sites & sounds of the Dominican are VERY similar to Mexico.......some not EASY to see!!!!

If I could have only got a full/front picture of this little guy......less than two, begging, in bare feet on ground that I would have a hard time walking on.........hard to see!!!

It's such a JOY to take pictures of people that find it SO easy to smile(a true genuine SMILE).......thank you Rachel, you made my job very easy!!! I can honestly say this young lady/beautiful bride did not take a bad picture ALL DAY........and that is REALLY something!!!





Although this is not the greatest picture........I love it!!! A true memory of the day.....bride ready to roll, but no where to go........her ride was running on Dominican time, and all the guests were waiting.........Dad to the rescue.......calling to see what the HOLD UP was!!!!

With our trip being only days away, CRUNCH TIME has officailly set in............along with some MAJOR bribing!!!!

On the weekend we had a BIRTHDAY cake for Baba(belated), Natasha(belated), & Dana(just around the corner)........Baba blew out the most candles........Way to go!!

SOME UNEXPECTED EXCITEMENT!!!!

10 or so minutes before Danica heads out for Fort MacMurry Ashley birdie trips/falls against the door jam and cuts open her chin!!! Not knowing if stitches were needed Danica decided to bring her and get it checked out!!! Sure enough 2 stitches were what the Doc ordered!!! This tough little girl(almost 2)was a REAL tropper, never even cried for the 1st stitch........then decided during the 2nd stitch she was bring held to tight, and let everyone know she wasn't impressed!!!!

Two hours later the three muskateers headed out on their journey!!! They arrived safe & sound in Fort Mac and are happily visiting their Dad!!! Mom says they were CHAMPION travellers!!!After a stressful morning one might expect things wouldn't go so well during their LONG car ride..........but they were GREAT........WTG girls!!!!

GREAT GAME DAYLAN!!!

In FOOTBALL if you have a good game you get game stickers for your helmut.....I'm sure there is a more FOOTBALLish way of putting this(that sounds cool & tough), but I don't know the right terminology!!!

So in the game last night Daylan got 4 stickers....

covering a 10 yard average per run.....

got all that? It means he had a REALLY good game!!

This is really BAD.......a great game for Daylan and I never had my camera ready for the BIG moments.......sorry DAYLAN(I must have been OVERLY excited watching you run for TWO touchdonws)!!! The only good shots I got were post game!!!
