Time to share some wedding photos from May 24th!

As of today the bride & groom HAVE their pictures.......now I can share!!!

I am happy with the majority of them........I think they are too!!! I must say though, I am VERY disappointed with the pictures I took in church, thank goodness Danica has good ones!!!

JUST ANOTHER MORNING.....not quite!!!

Today is officailly Daylan's LAST DAY OF CLASSES(for High School)........feels strange to me(last child/last day of classes).............WONDER how he's feeling????

Here he is in his NORMAL morning mode.........cereal(bad Mom....Fruit Loops), laptop(with music playing), his phone(receiving last minute morning text messages(this one was for him to take a shift at work))!

Daylan is always so generous with his smiles even when I have my camera in hand(I probably drive him NUTZ)!!! This time he had to HOOOOOLD it as my camera took forever to click.....must changes batteries!!!

Thanks for the excitement you provided today..............you have a reputation of bringing it on in the last few strokes of the game, and today was no different!!! Although the putt you sank didn't seal a win(a playoff)...........it was once again AMAZING!!! Playoff tomorrow.............I'll be watching!!!

Sometime things are just MEANT TO BE!!!!

This will be a long post.........but I think worth the read!!!

A couple of years ago I had this crafty type garage sale. For sale I had several paper bag albums kits, complete with pattern paper, cardstock, paper bags, and embellishments!!! Beside them I had a few paper bag album samples so shoppers could see what could be done with the kits.

okay so here the REAL story starts.........

One of the shoppers REALLY liked the kits and explained to me that she wanted to make a little album for her daughter that was fighting cancer........I was immediately touched of course! She explained how she had never made one and wasn't sure how to do it!!! My first thought was.....she can take my albums, use them to duplicate, then she could return them(it never crossed my mind that she wouldn't)! One of the albums had pictures(of me when I was VERY young), the other was a completed album without photos..........off she went with them both!!!

I had never met this lady before..........only at the garage sale(we exchanged names & numbers)

Weeks and months passed...........I thought about the albums from time to time, always thinking she would be calling soon!!! I then realized I had missed placed her name & number!!! More time passed, whenever I thought of the ablums I always wondered how her daughter was, if she duplicated the albums for her daughter, if she would call to return them???

A few weeks back when I placed the ad in the local paper, I thought.......maybe this lady lost my name and address and would see the latest CRAFTERS GARAGE SALE ad????

Well two years later.......guess who come to my garage sale with my two albums!!! She was SO happy she found me.........and I was SO happy to see her with my albums!!! She gave me a big hug, and said she would NEVER forget what I did for her(to me it didn't seem like much, but for her it was a huge)!!!

In the seconds after our HUG, she informed me that she'd lost her daughter to cancer(age 44)!!! I didn't know what to say............one of those moments that seem to last forever!!! The first thing that came to me was..........did she get the album made for your daugther? I don't even remember the words coming out of my mouth..........was it the right thing to say, I don't know.....but that's what came out!!!

She was happy to tell me that she did get the album done, and was able to give it to her daughter. Her daughter kept it by her side, she looked at it over, and over, and over again.............Mom said it brought her much comfort to know her daughter loved it so much!!!

I know my part in this story is very small..........but I'm glad I was able to help out......even if it was just a bit!!!!

In the end.......it seems..........it was MEANT TO BE!!!!

My Summer Plans are falling into place!!!

Slowly but surely my summer plans are becoming a reality!!! I am planning to spend good chunk of my summer in the country(main reasons being Mom & Baba)!!

As of yesterday I have secured a camp stall at Keiv's Ki Hi campground(love it there), now I just have to find something to camp it.........LOL!!!

I am not worried so much about a unit(I can pitch a tent....LOL!), my main concern was getting a stall somewhere that Mom could easily get to(or, I could run and pick her up), and a place that was good to bring Baba to (she also loves it there). Bonnyville is just a hop skip & a jump from the campground....I can easily pick her up in the morning(on a nice day), and take her back in the evening!!!

The cost is only $5 per day(for members), which I am becoming! Stalls include power(no water hook-ups, but there are NICE showers).............can't beat that!!!!

I can't wait to get there...........and let the summer fun begin!!!

I am also in the process of convincing A & D to let Natasha go to camp there.........first week of July! (fingers crossed)

VENT WARNING!!!

Have to go on a little RANT.........actually maybe it's a BIG rant.......here goes!!!

I am getting really SICK & TIRED of rude people.........isn't it easier to be nice? It's contagious......when you are nice to someone they are almost always going to be nice back.........right???? Along with rude usually comes a halo of negativeness(a bad combination, a dark cloud I prefer not to be under).......why can't people just BE HAPPY???

(I think)I'm a pretty patient person, I really try to brush things off........BUT there comes a point when enough is enough and you literally cannot take it anymore!!!! Guess what........I'm THERE!!! I've made a concious decision to distance myself from these kind of people(whenever possible)........if you don't have it in you to be GENUINELY nice to someone(more times then not)you won't be seeing much of me........I'm off to find some sunshine!!!

Well.........let's call it quits THERE.....if you are reading this I hope you can look outside and see a good day, smile & be nice to someone(even if it's just for a second)!!!

On the plus side I must say.........my life has so many HAPPY people in it.......and I am beyond THANKFUL for that!!! The ones that keep me going, and show me the world TRUELY is a GREAT place to be!!!

One part of this HAPPY group of people is the LITTLE ONES!! They are just so sweet........always seem to be smiling & happy.........probably why I love them SO MUCH!!!!!

I was lucky enough to see one of these HAPPY little people yesterday!!! A surprise visit from nephew Ryan & his wife Joanne, and they of course had their little munchkins with them!!! I don't like to single people out, but sometimes it's just seems right! Mr. Wylie is such a happy little guy.........everytime I see him he has the biggest smile.........and a HAPPY HELLO......it never fails!!! Wish I would have had my camera WHEN that BIG SMILE and HAPPY HELLO was delivered........it was PRICELESS!!! THANKS for brightening my day Wylie..........you are a sweetie!!!
